In 2016, Adrian set the ultimate goal - to summit Mt. Everest without supplemental oxygen. Along with National Geographic photographer and renowned alpinist Cory Richards, Adrian utilized cutting edge satellite and solar technology, combined with the at-the-time new app Snapchat, to tell in real time the story of their climb. Ultimately the attempt took two years, garnered billions of media impressions, millions of daily views, and mainstream media including deep dives on CBS This Morning, ESPN Sportscenter, the Charlie Rose Show and more. EverestNoFilter is credited with changing how expedition storytelling is done - in real time, authentically and honestly - with “no filter”. On May 23, 2017 at 10:53am, Adrian stood on top of the world without supplemental oxygen.
